Ashton Winery

Bon Courage Estate

Situated in the heart of the Robertson Valley, Bon Courage Estate is a family-owned winery where heritage and passion meet. The historic Cape Dutch homestead, dating back to 1818, reflects a long-standing tradition upheld by the Bruwer family since 1927. Bonnievale Wines

Bonnievale Wines is rooted in a legacy of collaboration, shaped by the valley’s rich history and agricultural innovation. Formed in 2006 through the merger of three producer-owned cellars, it now brings together four production sites and grapes from 100 member farms. Sourcing from diverse soils such as granite, limestone, and alluvial deposits, the focus remains on careful selection and quality. Dewetshof

De Wetshof Estate, the first registered wine estate in the Robertson Wine Valley, has been synonymous with fine wine since the 1970s. Internationally recognised as South Africa’s leading Chardonnay House, it pioneered the introduction of this noble varietal to the country. The De Wet family’s winemaking heritage dates back to 1694, and today the third generation continues this legacy, producing a focused portfolio centred on Chardonnay, alongside select white and red wines.

Visitors can enjoy a curated tasting of up to five wines, showcasing the estate’s diverse styles, from Cap Classique to unwooded and wood-matured expressions. Excelsior Wine Estate

Founded in 1859, Excelsior Wine Estate is a fifth-generation family farm in Robertson, still owned by the de Wet family. With a history rooted in resilience and innovation, the estate now focuses on producing premium wines from 230 hectares of vineyards. Goedverwacht Estate is a family-owned farm on the banks of the Breede River, held by the Du Toit family since 1950. Spanning diverse terroirs and microclimates, the estate produces wines of purity, elegance, and character. Only the finest vineyard sites contribute to the Great Expectations range, reflecting a philosophy of continuous improvement. Sustainable farming and a minimal intervention approach in the cellar allow each wine to express its origin with clarity and balance.

With roots tracing back to the 1960s, the estate has grown steadily under the current generation. A modernised cellar supports both fresh, fruit-driven whites and structured reds, offering versatility in style. Graham Beck Estate

In the heart of the Robertson Wine Valley, the Graham Beck Estate is a leading destination for Cap Classique, dedicated to the pursuit of the perfect bubble. Paul René Cap Classique, crafted at Wonderfontein Estate in the Robertson Wine Valley, is a vibrant expression of innovation and passion. Founded by Henk van Niekerk, the brand grew from a bold break with tradition into a celebrated bubbly enjoyed by a new generation. Years of experimentation and refinement shaped each bottle, while Monica van Niekerk’s artistic influence gives the range its distinctive visual identity. Together, their dedication defines the spirit of Paul René.

The range includes a Brut Chardonnay, Brut Rosé, Nectar, and Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut, offering a variety of styles to suit different tastes. Visitors can enjoy tastings throughout the week, with a popular Saturday Sushi Pop-Up featuring fresh sushi and oysters. Rietvallei Wine Estate

Established in 1864, Rietvallei Wine Estate is one of the Robertson Wine Valley’s oldest family-owned estates, shaped by six generations of the Burger family. Spanning 215 hectares, with just over 100 hectares under vine, the estate cultivates a range of classic varietals. Cool mists and ocean-influenced breezes allow for slow ripening, producing wines of depth and concentration. A standout is the historic 1908 Red Muscadel vineyard, reflecting the estate’s rich heritage and enduring craftsmanship.

Rivergold Wine Estate

Rooiberg Winery

Established in 1964, Rooiberg Winery is a leading wine cellar in the Robertson Wine Valley, known for its diverse range of quality wines shaped by unique ecological conditions. Van Loveren Family Vineyards, established in 1937 and run by the third-generation Retief family, is one of South Africa’s most recognised wine producers.
