Bon Courage Estate

Closely tucked in beside the peaceful waters of the Breede River lies Bon Courage Estate. Here the Bruwer family produce a selection of superb wines, ranging from noble whites, classic reds and fortified dessert wines to the elegant and award winning Cap Classique sparkling wines. Travellers and wine lovers passing through the area are welcome to visit the historic tasting room in the old manor house or to enjoy a delicious lunch at Café Maude.

De Wetshof Estate

The name De Wetshof has been synonymous with the production of fine wines in South Africa since the 1970’s. As the first registered wine estate in the Robertson Wine Valley, De Wetshof has become known internationally as South Africa’s eminent Chardonnay House due to the pioneering role it played in introducing this noble Burgundian grape to the country. The De Wet family’s winemaking heritage can, however, be traced back to 1694 when the first De Wets arrived at the Cape and immediately made a mark on the South African wine industry.

Esona Boutique Wine Estate

Esona – Xhosa for 'The Very One' is a husband/wife owned Boutique Wine Estate in Robertson. Hand-picked from single vineyards handcrafted into wines that articulate expressions of the grapes, emphasizing individuality, and celebrating its complexity. Producing limited-release wine from hand-picked grapes by single vineyards nestled beside the Breede River on the R317 between Robertson and Bonnievale in the Robertson Valley.

Excelsior Wine Estate

The De Wet family have farmed at Excelsior Estate, in the Robertson wine valley, since 1859 Wine has always been made on the estate. It is now the most important crop on the farm and Excelsior exports wine to over 20 countries. The farm has 220ha planted with noble cultivars, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Shiraz, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. There are also small plantings of blending cultivars such as Petit Verdot and Viognier.

Langverwacht Wines

Langverwacht Cellar, located in Bonnievale on the Stormsvlei road and was originally named Boesmansrivier Winecellar, the name was changed to avoid confusion with the nearby Boesmansrivier Cheese Factory, taking instead the name of the farm where it was built. Langverwacht specializes in cultivars such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, and Colombar for whites, with Pinotage, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Ruby Cabernet for reds. Known for its Chardonnay, Colombar, and Shiraz.

Jan Harmsgat

Our philosophy is to create delicious single-block wines, which are the smallest production unit for vineyards and may not exceed six hectares per cultivar. Since 1723, Jan Harmsgat Farm or JHG, is situated on the most southern tip of the Robertson Wine valley along the foothills of the Langeberg Mountains. Our Farm's unique position borders both the dry climate of the Little Karoo as well as the Mediterranean cool sea breezes from the Coastal Regions.

Kleinhoekkloof Wine

Kleinhoekkloof is a family owned boutique wine farm safely ensconced in the Wildepaardekloof Valley on the Southern foot of the Langeberg Mountain between Robertson and Montagu. Compact parcels of pristine vineyards are scattered on various choice sites in this small picturesque valley from which handcrafted award-winning wines are created. A secret garden of wine up in the mountains guarded by a rock eye and a river runs through it!
