Taste The Tradition
A HERITAGE inspired SLOW Food & Wine Weekend
TASTE THE TRADITION
The enchanting Robertson Wine Valley is renowned for wine, natural beauty and warm-hearted hospitality, making it the ideal destination for a spring-time breakaway during the Heritage Slow Food & Wine Weekend to be held from 22 to 25 September.
Hosted by members of the Robertson Wine Valley, guests will experience a diverse range of authentic food, wine and recreational offerings personally curated by a welcoming community that for decades has made Robertson one of the winelands’ best-loved and most popular destinations.
Here wine-farmers, owners of guest-houses and restaurateurs take pride in their belief in a slow way of life, an ethos they love to share with visiting food and wine enthusiasts wishing to savour personable and immersive experiences, encountering this magical part of the Boland at a leisurely pace. Over this year’s Heritage Inspired Slow Food & Wine Weekend visitors will be exposed to the diversity of Robertson’s internationally renowned wines while taking-in breathtaking scenery between flavoursome visits to various farm-to-fork eateries, each plating-up meals made from local seasonal ingredients inspired by the heritage and tradition this region is known for.
